We just had a small CNY gathering at Xiaohui's house recently, had "Yu Sheng" and dinner, oh not forgetting mahjong session. All the kids were present and yes it was expectantly chaotic & noisy! And as usual the younger ones eyed on the toys whichever Reyes is playing - esp his water bottle! Reyes being the biggest boy has to be reminded to share the toys with the younger ones and he was so unhappy about it as he had just gotten hold (haven't even started to play) of it.

Reyes has been (considered) a very obedient (but just cheeky & mischievous) boy, and we are truly grateful & glad. Whenever there is a chance or when we left, we will take the chance to tell/remind him that we know that he has been a very good boy, just that he is a Kor Kor so need to give in to the younger mei meis. He will show signs of happiness after that =)

I truly believe Reyes will be a good korkor to Raeanne who will dotes, protect and take care of his lil sister. Nowadays he has been asking me "Mommy, when is Raeanne coming out?" - not sure if he is looking forward to his lil sis's arrival or finally mommy will be able to carry him after 9 months! Yes haven't been carrying him for 9 mths! Kind of miss it.

Sometimes I wonder should I categorize Reyes as talkative or expressive? Haha. He is really very chatty & a quick-thinker for a boy his age and I hope that this will be better put into use.

I will start planning for his exta-curriculum after my confinement.

VBAC vs C-Sec

3 weeks ago on my FB wall post reads: "I am so determined to go through normal delivery, please let it happen!"

Lots of friends sent me words of encouragement and I felt even more determined & motivated!

For my 2nd child it will be VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Caesarean) and it won't be as simple as it seems to be or rather as I thought it will be. Dr.Chen was obligated to tell me the possible risk involved for VBAC and leave the ultimate decision to us. There will be a 4-10% risk of womb rupture due to the previous surgical cut, and when that happened it will cause blood loss to mother and oxgyen supply cut-off to baby. It sure sounds scary huh? That's what Jimmy felt and would not tolerate risk like that. But my surgical cut was like 3-4years old, would have heal completely by now - but how can I insist on VBAC w/o a supportive hubby? Afterall it's our baby. I chanced upon these real-life stories related to VBAC and was really happy they made it through. If only I am one of them. http://vbacsupportsg.blogspot.com/

But it's ok. Utimately as long as my baby is safe & healthy, that's all it matters.

Yes, it is confirmed a girl!!

Was msn'ing with cousin-in-law one day and she mentioned about getting ob-gynae to re-confirm the gender to avoid any possible surprises, and so we did. Dr. Chen even gave us a up close u/s scan showing clearly Raeanne's femine area and jokingly said that we can confidently side-bet with whoever doubting the gender.

Lil one is now at a healthy 2.2kg, with mommy gaining 12kg so far.

I did brought up the issue of decreasing appetite to Dr.Chen but he wasn't too concerned about it as everything is showing positive esp on lil one's growth & weight. He did a growth scan checking not only on baby's heart and lungs development but also on mommy's amniotic fluid level (whether it's of sufficient supply). Dr.Chen tried to show us a glimpse of bb's face but she was back-facing us (guess lil Raeanne is a shy girl), only managed to show us her legs - kicking away!

Nowadays her movement is so much harder which made me laughed at times.

I'm so looking forward to the arrival of this lil one.

It's just a week after recent visit to the gynae for my bad cough but this time is for my detailed ultrasound. Had been looking forward, hoping to catch a glimpse of the little one. I didn't manage to do the glucose screening test this time round due to my coughing (which will not show accurate result) - fasting for nothing!

Little one is very active and moving around during the scanning (everything was normal), it's amazing and yet funny to be seeing & feeling her movements. Dr. Chen confirmed the gender (it's going to be a girl!) and managed to show me her side view - i think little one doesn't resemble much like Reyes but it's still too early. I was telling daddy that hopefully lil one has my eyes (double eyelids) and my smile, esp when Reyes has daddy's small eyes!

Gosh, I'm halfway through the pregnancy phase ... gained about 4kg (scaling at 53kg) now. Hopefully I will be able to keep it below 10kg this time.

Yes, I am expecting my 2nd one - I'm 16wks 01 day pregnant.

It had been quite a roller coaster for the past few months, and I am just hoping for the better. I still remembered that even though it was tested positive with the 1st pregnancy kit, I went and bought a 2nd pregnancy kit (this time a digital one that is able to tell you the no. of weeks you are in) just to be absolutely sure about the good news.

I was very concerned with this pregnancy (who wouldn't if were in my shoes?) and decided to keep a low profile this time round. I was contemplating for a week, if to stick to my old gynae or to change a new gynae for checkup and finally decided to try out Dr Chen Lin Han @ Chong Pang. I heard alot of good reviews about him - very attentive & knowledgeable. I was alone for my 1st checkup (as Jimmy was tied up with work) and I must say I was quite skeptical about how good can this doctor be when I stepped into the clinic. The clinic was very simple-looking, with just minimal renovation, damn limited no. of chairs, nurses were in their own attire and not in typical uniforms - a contrast from Dr.Hii's! But what the heck, I am already there so might as well do my 1st checkup with Dr.Chen before deciding if to switch to another.

I'm glad I stayed on. He went through my past history in details and for some reason you can feel this sense of comfort and confidence in him. I was kind of nervously anxious and shivering abit as I laid down on the bed about to go through the ultrasound scanning, when he touched my arm and asked me to relax. I can tell you that I almost teared when nothing could be seen in the scan, but Dr. Chen assured me by explaining the possibilities of such scenarios - could be too early esp if I had irregular menses or I ovulate later. Next will be taking a blood test that day and 48hrs later, to see if there is any changes in the blood results to determine my pregnancy progress. I had to wait patiently for a day for the blood result to be back but 24hrs SEEMS LIKE FOREVER! I was literally holding on to my mobile phone that day, in case I missed out the call when the clinic calls. I let out a huge sigh and felt so relieved when the nurse told me the good news.

Following that, I had REALLY BAD morning sickness that doesn't seems to go away at all! Literally hugging on the toilet bowl everyday! All the morning sickness and vomiting made me so sick and loss of appetite. EVERYONE commented I looked so pale and weak each time they saw me. I stil remembered the worst time I vomited 5 times in a single day and that was during Reyes's birthday pre-celebration (19.08.2010)!!! I CAN NEVER forget that terrible, awful feeling!

Thank god that I am SO SO much better now, and my appetite is finally coming back! Yippee!!!!

My tummy already started showing at 12th weeks, I guess because it's my second pregnancy and it will show earlier as stomach muscles are already loosened and tend to expand much easily. Now at 16th weeks, I feel that I felt little one's movement already but not too sure if it's so.

Looking forward to seeing our little one next week and hopefully we will be able to know the gender then. Anyway I got a strong feeling it's a boy, so we shall see if I'd spot on.

Just want little one to be fine and healthy.

Reyes's 3rd Birthday (Finale)

My goodness! 3years old and 3 celebrations!

We were just trying our luck to see if we can secure the sponsored NSRCC unit through balloting in May and Jimmy managed to get it! Lucky us.

Frankly speaking, I didn't manage to plan and make much special arrangements for Reyes's birthday this year as I was not in the good health state for months.

No self-prepared food/bites for the party

No surprises

I'll make sure the next one will be a better one, okay!

The best I got for the party was the Seasame Street's helium balloons and catering from Mum's Kitchen (my fav. choice of caterer). Initially I thought of keeping this celebration to just some close friends & immediate family members but ended with about 40pax (excluding kids), but it was a good get together and Reyes enjoyed his day.

The swimming session was fun for the kids, definitely not for the adults! This is the 1st time our kids swam and played together and they truly enjoyed the water. You should have witnessed the bathing time, it was chaotic just like being in a childcare centre. I was laughing as I stood and watch the adults busy handling the kids. Those big enough to stand and bath were all lined up and took turns to wash up and those younger ones either were at the other corner or in their bathtub - it was quite a scene indeed.

We were all famished after the walk! Went straight to SuperDog for our late dinner. We started off our walk at 630pm and reached Vivo at 830pm! Seriously I didn't anticipated it will be such a looooong and tiring walk!!! Trsut me, next time I will be in my sports shoes and not flip flops!
We have got blisters after the walk ok, and still have to continue walking to Vivo for our dinner..... my goodness!

We had been talking about heading down to JB for dinner some day after work and we just decided that we going to do it this day. Onz huh! YY was the one who recommended "Sam Low Seafood" as they serves good mee hoon. Initially we have our doubts as how good can a plate of mee hoon be for us to drive all the way for that? I tell you ......... IT'S REALLY GOOD!

Zoo Excursion - March 2010

This will be Reyes's third yearly visit (since 2008) to the Zoo!

We plan to bring him to the Zoo on an annual basis (since its free), to introduce him to the real animals and how they really look like (i.e how big, how tall, how smelly). Anyway he was the one who kinda requested for the trip, asking me one day "Mama, bring me to see lion & tiger!"

I prepared and brought along sandwiches to quest our hunger as its too expensive & much of a hassle to settle our lunch in the Zoo. Both the boys are happy & satisfied with their burgers and packet milk, even though I craved for iced tea & ice-cream in that scorching hot weather!

The funniest part of the day will be Reyes feeding his favorite animal - Giraffe!
We paid $5 for 5 pathetic slides of carrot - was it expensive or not! When the giraffe stick out its tongue to grab its carrot, it touched Reyes's hand and he immediately withdrew his hand and went "eeeeek...!", and cleaned his hands on daddy's tee shirt. I managed to videotaped down and will load it up after I convert the file - Stay tuned!

Everything went smoothly till the day is about to end where we got caught in the heavy downpour! We were just that close to getting into our car! Damn!

As Reyes grows older, our zoo excursion became more educational and meaningful. At least he can recognize the many different kind of animals and we can relate their behaviour to him. He like the kangaroo and was eagerly waiting for them to hop around but his patience didnt pay out - too bad, guess they hate the weather as well!

How time flies..... it has been nearly 10mths since BFF flew off to the States @ MB. Her darling princess Keira is reaching 9 months old now and I haven't got a chance to carry her! Haven't seen her via webcam for awhile too, as everytime when we skyped shes already asleep while Reyes KorKor is awake!

It's dear Xayier-boy's 1st year birthday cum house-warming! How wonderful!!

They ordered a whopping 3kg chocolate fudge cake from Jane's cake station (off Jalan Kayu) and it was expectedly yummy! Hahaha, those who can tried the cake before will be able to apprehend that. Xayier can now walk on his way with minimal support on & off but I think he has achieved the milestone quite early already - good job! Keep it up! Sometimes he will just lean towards Reyes for support as hes still learning to walk, but my darling boy doesn't quite know how to react will attempt to push him away. BUt after I explained to Reyes to lend Xayier a helping hand, he will hold Xayier by the hand and walk around together. But the walking pace is a worry, as my son doesn't walk!

Celebration with my GE/VG colleagues @ Chinatown KTV

We had planned for a KTV outing in celebration for Elim's belated birthday but didn't expect a surprise for mine instead. Yap introduced this frigging cheap KTV @Chinatown but kinda "old" though. It was only about S$12 per pax from 7pm - 12midnight, with FREE FLOW drinks and 1 chicken soup! Ok we seriously pondered why they will serve chicken soup instead of other soup/food, but its still a unanswered doubt. Haha, anyone can tell me why?!

The tiara was a total surprise by Uncle Philip! Not the typical elegant tiara but it's funky enough!

Celebration with my family @ Sun with Moon - Wheelock Place

After contemplating with what kind of cuisine for my birthday, I decided on Japanese!
Sun with Moon restaurant was recommended by a few friends & colleagues, so I shortlisted it for my birthday dinner since I haven't tried their food before. Personally, I was quite disappointed with the quality of food for that particular "more than average" price. The most enjoyable dish I enjoyed will be the chocolate crepe cake, which was quite good. The rest of the food was priced way too high for that kind of quality, especially the plate of salmon sashimi we ordered - 5 slides cost us S$15 and I seriously cannot differentiate the differences between Sakae's and Sun with Moon's.

But nevertheless I totally enjoyed my evening out with my hubby (who hates to go down town) and my darling boy! Its the company that counts!!!

A realllllll surprise from hubb!!!

Checked my letterbox and realised i've mail. It was a blue letter addressed to me and I was already wondering who it was from (even thou it's labelled "TNP") and hubb even pointed out to me there's heart shaped sticker on it.

I opened up and saw the magnet pegs, thinking it's some free gift from TNP perhaps. The real surprise came when I opened up the small greeting card to realised it was from my beloved Hubb!! It was the Valentine's lovelines dedication by TNP CATS classified.

Tell you ... I am REALLY taken by surprise this time!! Esp from hubb!! It never came across my mind that he will do such a romantic act (you'll know what I mean if u know him long enough).

Very very sweet of him!!!

I'm going to print out my nice family protrait and make use of these priceless magnet pegs to match it!!

Revamped Orchard

This is the biggest high-end shopping centre - Ion, which is just located besides Wisma Atrium. Just thought of snapping and sharing with those who are away from home, at least you get to see it virtually. Not too bad right? I haven't been to Orchard quite often, and I must say I was quite stunned by the many changes there. Impressed!

This is the free shuttle bus "The Great Trolley" that brings you around a few venues from Orchard with specific time intervals. It was introduced by Peilin, else I will be a mountain turtle too! Hahaha.

Quarrelled over grandma's wake. How pathetic right? He kept asking me if he can read a book at the wake?! I said no. Just try to help with the folding of joss papers. He asked why am I trying to be traditional? I was pissed. Ok be it I AM trying to be traditional, so what? She is my grandma, we are related!! That's the least i can do my bit of fillial now.

Then he went all way saying he belong to a somewhat distant relative hierarchy - even gov don't give compassionate leave to him. Asked why cant I just respect him? I told him becos you are part of the family - we're married! Kaoz I feel damn pathetic with such cold-blooded creature!

This christmas marked another sad day. Grandma passed away. No one had ever thought she would find such means to end her life journey but perhaps that's where she'll relive and be happier.

Have been planning and looking around for car models some months ago before deciding to change out our Getz before its book value dropped next Feb 2010.

We have shortlisted the following in preferential order:

Honda Airwave (but we find it too big)
Nissan Latio Sports (pretty!)
Toyota Vios (prefer the new design but Latio won us over)
Toyota Axio (not to my liking)

Simply love this colour we chosen - Amethyst Gray but it is a damn classy shade of purple!

Its a good thing we BOTH love this colour.

As promised, Daddy bought us to dinner @ Outback as I was kinda craving for good steaks but it turned out to be just a disappointment. Guess its when you have a certain expectation, it may not meet that.

Now Reyes is no longer required to be sitting on his car seat but just a booster and buckle up properly. Parents out there, pls train your babies to be seated and placed in car seat since young, else its going to be a headache as they grow older and refuses to be "stuck" in there! I am VERY GLAD we persisted!

Let me share with you guys our sumptuous dinner spread for 2 person! Hahaha!! We really OVER-ordered !! And we paid for our mistakes again!

突然间有好多好多感触。
看了Diana Ser主持的节目“只想说声对不起”，不禁想起4个月前的心酸事。
心真的好酸。

I don't think alot of people around me have a clue about the incident till now.

It was the programme's finale and Diana Ser being the host shared with the public her fair bit of her unknown story - her rough path of pregnancy on Christy Lye. It actually made me recalled ALL of what had happened and I realised that it was ME who took away his/her life so much earlier, way too much earlier.

Started to feel all the achings and weirdness going on in my body, and decided to confirm the result; + positive. We were thrilled to know that our baby is a healthy foetus! Gosh, should say elated when gynae informed us that he/she is going to be due in end January 2010 which means its still a moo-moo baby!! We had always wanted to make it in time for a moo moo baby and it was really a wonderful gift granted to us!

I remembered Hubb expressed his concern about me looking after Reyes during this stage, suggested leaving Reyes to my mom's care over the weekends till baby stablized but I did not think that it would be an issue at all! I mean how many mommies are out there also looking after their kids during pregnancy? C'mon... why do I need to be different???

Happiness doesn't last long.
Expect the unexpected.

Noticed I had abit of "dirty blood" during one of my toilet break in the office which I had never experienced during my 1st pregnancy. Immediately called hubby and told him about him as I wasn't even sure if that's "staining". Unexpectedly my anxious hubby drove down and brought me to the gynae for a scan, just to make sure things are okay. Ironically I only saw that "staining" that ONE time, but it's a sign for me.

The scanning revealed there's a blood clot outside the placenta and there was definitely a cause for concern. Dr. Hii tactlessly said "There is a chance of early miscarriage" and instructed for bedrest for 2 weeks, on daily medication to strengthen the womb, and return for a weekly checkup to monitor the progress.

I was a composed dumb bird for some time as I am loss for words and information just couldn't flow through my mind at that moment. Tears tickled down as Hubb reprimanded me away.

Till now there is no explanation for the bloodcot but logically (and I believe) should be caused by force exertion by mommy who turned Hubb's advices into deaf ear and carried on carrying my dear boy who weighed about 10kg.

Luckily baby developed very well and grew more than double in length within one week, with the bloodclot significantly subsiding. Expect the unexpected. Things took a bad turn the very next week when my baby's heartbeat stopped and once again I have to go through a D&C.

I CAN'T remember how long I cried that night.... but it was long and hard.

Perhaps its fated, but I believe I played a part too.

If ONLY I'd just listened and heeded advices.
If ONLY I'd been more responsible towards my little life.
If ONLY you are still inside me.

I always had this passion in designing cards but just doesnt have the exposure to put this interest into professional. Too bad. Hubby always lament about me not determined/no drive to push myself further, but what can I do more? I am trying.

Seriously I kinda missed that kind of satisfaction upon completed deliverables (since Infinity2/EQ).

BFF asked me to do up an invitation card for little Keira's full month celebration. Of course I am all ready and excited to do so. She's a baby girl, so I can explode the card with candy pop colours =p Girly enough?

Below is the more or less finalized e-invitation card done up for YY's wedding.
I wanted something simple yet romantic, so came up with the background colour + the swirls w/forals backdrop. Sure hope the bride and groom will like it.

Now I'm contented in doing these cards in soft copies, but hopefully there's opportunity for printing deliverables. Let's see if there is someone who has the confidence in me or interested with my designs.

It was such a belated farewell dinner for Jane, who left the company like 3 weeks back then? We had dinner at Peony Jade@Clarke Quay; SzeChuan ala-carte buffet. The menu they had was different from Keppel Club's outlet. Personally I prefer Clarke Quay's food though I didn't had alot, expect their mini abalone??? Pls manz, the abalone was really super tiny mini lor! Pathetic!

Sigh now even Jane left the pathetic company, why are we still stuck there?! Realy have to work harder to carry on my job hunting! NEVER GIVE UP!

His first day in childcare

Reyes started his 1st day in playgroup - yeah!

Finally registered him to playgroup in the new childcare centre just besides our house - The Kids@Yishun Pte Ltd. It had been through many discussions that we finally came to a conclusion to enrol him for a trial month. Our core objective is to expose him to some learning and most importantly to social interraction! And of course to be able to bring him home every night.

The first 3 days will be his orientation from 9am to 12noon with breakfast and lunch included. Sigh I will only be able to accompany him for the 1st day, then pass on the baton to my mom.

The first day was great! I truly felt his growing up and I must say it's what all mommies will feel accomplished! Initially he was such an introvert especially during breakfast - not wanting to greet anyone nor eat his bread and milk, but gradually adapt to the environment. Good job, Reyes!

ANYWAY that was only a total of 5 kids today! Hahaha! What do you expect right? It's a NEW childcare centre, which used to be the old Yishun library (now located at Northpoint). I must say I am very proud of my little boy, though naughty but he is the only one who is toilet trained and able to feed himself properly in the group. Teachers all had positive feedback about him (but too soon to say otherwise - wait till his "pattern" is out).

When it was lunch time at 1130am, Reyes is all ready to eat! When one of the teacher brought out the tray of food, he was clapping and went "Wah........!!!" And guess what !?? He is the first one to finish his bowl of rice (with steamed egg and boiled spinach) - all by HIMSELF!!!

Well well, going to try out for at least 2 weeks and see if we will stick to this childcare centre or switch to one near my mom's place - headache!

We sneaked out from Reyes's sight so that he can gradually adapt into the group and went exploring the centre. Bo liao right? But you see how cute their toilets are .... everything is so small!! Even their private "cubicles" are labelled so kidishly!

Officially 2 years old!

He learnt how to do the "2" last few weeks and just in time to signify his age! =)
As you can see, he was happily and proudly showing off his new "trick"

He'd learnt to say numbers 1 to 10 in english recently and its really funny when he kept skipping 7 & 8 most of the times.

I must say this "Sesame Street" theme cake was really well decorated. Reyes was so happy when we opened up the cake box, and was smiling ear to ear. All along he likes and can get excited when someone sings the "Happy Birthday" song, and so you can imagine how excited he was when he heard the song while standing in front of his Sesame Street cake!

Introduced the water bottle with straw back to Reyes and surprisingly he drank the water out from it without much problem! Finally no choking for the first time! Hes good!

Initially when we tried to teach him to drink out from the water bottle, he always got choked on the amount of water that went in too fast, hence we switched back to the basic nipple water bottle. Felt a sense of accomplishment when he know how to control his swallowing now. Thats my boy!!

We went Bakerzin's Inn for tea set as usual (weather damn hot) with Daddy. I was waiting to be seated and Reyes looked at me and asked "Ah Yi??" I was amazed for a minute that he actually remembered we went there with Auntie Phyllis. Then i explained to him "Oh you remembered we came here with Ah Yi and Uncle last time huh? No la, Ah Yi not here today"

Then he went "Cle?" Hahaha... funny boy.

The next first time was bringing him for a haircut =p which was a tough one

Brought him to the hair salon @ Northpoint and asked Reyes

"Reyes, you want to cut hair? Want mei mei anot?"

He nodded and said "yao"

"Ok ah, mommy put $$ then let jiejie cut hair mei mei ok"

"K"

Well, when the lady came over with the scissors, oh boy Reyes immediately shook his head and starting crying when the lady started cutting!

Tried all methods to calm and coax him.... luckily the lady offered him sweets and that managed to coax him alittle. Hahaha

Initially there was about 3 other patrons in the shop but Reyes was the only one left by the time hes done. His screaming & crying must have scared the rest away =p

But I must say kudos to the lady who cut his hair. She was really patient and did not give up despite his crying and struggles. Not bad. But I find it way too expensive - S$8 for a toddler. Is it not expensive?

Oh adult rate is also S$8!! *speechless*

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
A tribute to all mommies out there!
We truly deserve a good pat on our back =) *pat* *pat*

This is my 2nd year enjoying this day, but it's just so different.

I can't even remember much about the 1st one, haha.

Brought MIL to Sushi Tei@Upper Thomson Rd for a lunch treat in celebration for Mother's Day & her birthday, but it was such a disappointing meal instead! GOSH! Not only their food quality sucks, their service sucks big time too! Going to boycott that!

Met the Toh's family to dinner at Kuishin Bo@Jurong Point. Here comes the funny part - it was supposedly meant as a surprise dinner for the 2 mommies, as suggested by Jim. Xiong was supposed to go plan the "surprise" dinner but as usual he let the cat out of the bag! But we both were quite touched with their gesture still.

The true surprise of the day is the present from Jim! Surprise surprise surprise (indeed)!
He actually went to get it while the rest of us were shopping and on our way down to the restuarant.

It all started with a lie.

Hubb told me that he will be on a 5 days course as required by SAF from 29 April till 4th May. Even though I found the timing somewhat weird and even taking up their public holiday which falls on 1st May, but guessed he had no choice to reject either. I was extremely disappointed knowing that our long weekend will be burnt again; no more family day, but what can i say BUT "suck thumb"??

Hubb asked me to attend his "graduation" day on 04 May prior to our planned family dinner, and of course I agreed without much hesitation. My honour huh!? Haha.

To my astonishment when I reached the venue to realise that it was nothing but a whole pack of white lies! The moment I stepped into the office, I knew Hubb had been lying to me. He had told me that he was attending a training workshop of self-awareness and had repeatedly commented how beneficiary it had been and so on. People were literally hugging each other as though they had been long-lost friends and you will know it's more than a training seminar! It's another of those brainwashing companies - it's always around me!! This organizing company is called "The Asia Works" - go google on it and you will be able to find many interesting feedbacks/comments about them! Anyway I do understand why Hubb lied to me on this, for I had been skeptical about these type of workshops but he did assured me he will be conditioned like the rest of those insane people. Of course I trust him - he is the most sensible man I ever know (so far)!

He mentioned that alot of people broke down in tears when they spoke about their spouses and relationship but he didn't. He only became emotional when asked to close his eyes and think of a person valuable to him and tell them how he felt. I asked who he thought of ....... ??

"You", he said.

When someone asked him about his spouse and expected him to become emotional, he said
"I have nothing to complain about my wife. She's second to none."
"I cannot even think of anyone who can be as supportative as my wife."
"Even though we do have tiffs every now and then. Those are nothing, they are parts & parcels of life."

It TOUCHED my heart.
It melts my heart.

My lil boy is simply in love with Sesame Street! Oh no, should be only Elmo & Cookie Monster!
He doesn't like Mr Noodles very much and beats me why!

He will always like to bring along either Doggie, Elmo or Cookie Monster whenever he heads back to grandma's house on Sunday evenings =)

He's really growing! Was browsing through Popular Bookstore and he saw Sesame Street VCDs, simply took it and called me: "Mommy! Elmo! Buy!"

We bought him a new chair last Sunday and he just enjoyed sitting on it. So got him to sit down with Elmo and asked if he want Mommy to take photos for him. He nodded "Yes"

AND he really posed readily and smiled to the camera!!

Beginning to feel the stress in teaching & disciplining Reyes. Have to admit that I am definitely not the mild-tempered, patient mommy, but I am going to do my best. Already foresee it will not be an easy task bringing up a kid, more ever he spend most of his time with grandparents - his protected territory. Yes, it feels good knowing so many people dotes on my kid, but it really turns around doubly hard in disciplining him. I FELT IT.

Sigh, not sure if I am a good mommy to Reyes. I felt bad & lousy after scolding him, but felt the need to do so. He's already a pampered boy at my parent's and I can't allow him to grow up that way - NO WAY! Of course, not as if I am confident I can inculcate good moral teachings to him, but hopefully teach him the rights and correct him on the wrongs.

Terrible 2 (years old)?? That's one of the traditional saying ...

Anyway Hubby added this new quote in his office email signature and was being complaint for being offensive by a senior officer, and was called into his head's office for an interview. Being someone who advocates individual rights, he challenged for the head's comment to the quote and asked in what way was the quote offensive!

Percentage of determination is obvious than violence!!

Why do some people just want to make things difficult for others? Can't they just live their life peacefully and in harmony?

Perhaps that's these people that make our lives "colourful" !?!
